Winter Tires Studded Duratracs vs Blizzaks

Hey guys it's time for me to get some new tires for my f350. I currently have studded duratracs 295/65/18 and they've worked pretty good the last few winters but just wondering if there is something better out there. I know Duratracs are not a dedicated winter tire and don't have the same soft compound but they sure are good in deeper snow.

Looking at the Blizzaks DM-V1 studdless or even the Goodyear ultragrip ice studded, or buy another set of duratracs. Any input guys? Tons of packed snow, ice, deeper snow and -40 on a regulare basis. This will strictly be for the crazy winters here in Fort McMurray and on the hwy of death (hwy 63).

Are you trying to pair them with a set of summers so you have the same diameter?

I ended up ordering a set of Goodyear Ultragrip Ice WRT studded in 275/70/18 (10 ply). They should do the trick.
