denied warranty

had speed sensor go out on my 2012 F-250 with 1500 miles,,dealer said it was because my tires are over size 35-18s,,and thru mud and caused wires to pull out of sensor,, any one have anything similar happen

I wouldn't say the tires are to blame but if the wires were pulled out from something hitting it than it's a road hazard issue. Now if the wires were pulled out due to a lift and the axle articulating beyond the available wire than that's a different issue.

If the newer trucks are the same as the old ones, it's just a $20 sensor on top of the rear differential and you might need a pigtail depending on wire damage.
