2011 F-350 295/60-20 Trail Grapplers installed, perfect size

It was time for a new set of tires so I went to Discount Tire and had some Nitto Trail Grapplers in a 295/60-20 installed. I have to say the size looks perfect on the truck and there is absolutely no rubbing anywhere. I was going to go with a 35-12.50-20 but they would not put them on the stock 20" rim since it is only 8" wide. I can understand that so no problems there. I have to give some serious credit where it is due, I went to a store in Plano TX, but the closest tires in that size were in Ft. Worth. The manager tried to get a currier company to bring the tires to the store but they wanted $100 to do it. So the manager drove his own truck to Ft. Worth and picked them up…. If that is not customer service then I do not know what is.

They are louder than the stock tires, but not at all offensive, just a soft low hum. I will say that they do feel soft to the touch and the manager told me to bring it back as often as necessary to keep the wear even. He recommended bringing it in for a rotation if I went somewhere towing heavy, said it would make them last a lot longer.

Anyway here are some pictures, I think that they look perfect on the truck. Oh, no lift, leveling etc. I have thought about leveling but when I tow the flat bed gooseneck loaded with hay the rear end will sit lower than the front as is (it can end up being a pretty heavy load). I will try to update with wear, if I can get a good 30-35k out of them I will probably be doing all right. The truck is not a daily driver so those miles will actually last for a while.

Looks good, I had that same size on my 2010 cummins and they wore really well and repelled many a mesquite thorn to boot!
