2008 F250 King Ranch wheel

I just notice that my aluminun drivers side rim has started to split right about where the tired bead is. these are 20" wheels. Has anyone have any information on what could of happened? This is strickly a road truck. Kind of lost now to find a replacement rim. Is this a common thing with big tires and rims.
