carli level kit on the way

Now to decide which wheels to get. I'm planning on running 35" toyo mt's on either 17 or 18". My question is can I run a wheel with 4.5" backspacing or do I need to go with a minimum of 5"

guess I'm old school but I don't like the look of big wheels. I prefer the look and ride of more side wall and less wheel.

Plus the money savings! It's a win/win/win situation!

Anyhow I would stick with a 5-5.5" backspace on an 8.5-9" wheel.

Thanks. That's what my gut keeps telling me but one particular wheel I like is only made in a 4.5bs so I was trying to get a second opinion.

Honestly, I go against my own rule. We recommend the exact wheels that George recommended above. I personally run 17x9 with 4.75" of backspacing on 35" tires and had to cut/pull back the inner fender liner a tad. You "can" fit it if that's the look you prefer but you're better off to stick to the specs SKYD RAM listed!

Took ya'lls advice and stuck with the 5"bs. Ordered 35x1250R18 Toyo Mt's and BMF Novakanes from Mr Wheel deal, will post pics when they get here. Thanks again.
