8 or 10" wide wheel for 315/75/16?

I'm going to order a set of srw fronts for my dually next week. I'm going with the eagle 058s and they are only available in 16x8 or 10. It seems like most go with 10s but im afraid the wheels might be a bit wide for the tires.

What do you guys think/recommend? Pics would be appreciated as well. Thanks

I wouldn't put anything wider than a 285 on a 10 inch wheel.
*EDIT* I meant to say that I wouldn't run anything wider than a 285 on an 8 inch wheel. Sorry about that.

Here's a frontal view of my 315s on a 16x10. There are other angles in my profile. Just make sure that you look at the BFGs because there are also pictures of the 365s that I used to have.

Ill take a look at your pics.

285s have a max recommend wheel width of 9 in
315s are 8-10. Optimal would me a 9in wheel but thats not an option

Thanks for your input though

Edit: just looked at your other pics, truck looks good and tires look good on those wheels.

I had 295/65R20 on the stock 8" rim and I know a lot of guys run 12.5" wide tires on the stock rims as well. Right now I have 325s (13.5") on 10" wide wheels.

Thanks BIG Laing! I wouldn't run anything wider than a 285 on an 8" wheel. I ended up running my 285s on 10s before going to 35s.

*EDIT* And I screwed it up AGAIN! Has anyone seen my helmet and fruit roll ups?
