With a leveling kit installed you can run tire size 315/70-18 but your factory wheels have to high an offset (like BIG Laing noted) which means the tires will rub on the inside towards the suspension. A lower offset wheel will is recommend for this size.

On an 05 you will have severe rubbing on the stock +40 offset 8" wide wheels.

You will still be rubbing on the radius arm with a lift.

315/70r18 is awesome, but not on stock rims. You really should be sticking with 285 or 295 wide on the stock rims IMO.

You can but will rub the radius arms at full lock like others have stated. I have been running my Toyo Mt's 315/70/18's for a year now w/a leveling kit and it hasn't bothered me too much.

I am putting on a Carli 4.5" kit next week and will be running 37" Toyos on my factory wheels. I know the radius rub will be even worse so I am going to try using Fred Goeske's 2" steel hub centric adaptors to bring my factory wheels out and see how that works.

Cheers,

Over stock there is a slight hum but no drone, you know they are there but very livable. Very quite compared to the MT`s of the past.
