Never messed with wheels before...
So I ran a piece of rebar through the side wall of a tire today, and instead of buying one new tire with three at half tread I'm going to go ahead and get all new wheels and tires. Thing is, I've never had aftermarket wheels. The tire size is 33 12.50 16.5. The bolt pattern is correct on the wheels. Will these just slap onto a stock suspension srw f350? Will they rub or mess up the alignment? I'd hate to pay a shop if I can jack it up and do it myself. Any advice is appreciated.

Im not sure about your area but it seems like the 16.5 wheels are a dying breed around here. You might have problems finding your next set of tires.
As far as if it will hit anything, u need to know some more measurements and the biggest one is backspacing or offset. These numbers tell the same location but in different ways. backspacing is a measurement from the back of the wheel (not tire) to the hub mounting surface. Lay something straight across the wheel and measure down to flange. offset is how far offcenter the mounting flange is compared to the cenerline of the wheel. This number is usually given in metric numbers like -24 or +35. This is a little harder to measure and usually is used when ordering new wheels. |

No prob. So I guess I didnt really answer your question though! Lol
I would just stay away from the 16.5 wheels personally. |

If you stay with 16.5, you can get military tires for about $100 a piece. Check craigslist for the tires. Or one of these sites under the classifieds.
