Repainting BMF Wheels????

so i have the 20x10 novakanes death metal. had them for 3+ years now.
was thinking about getting them repainted cause they are really fadded hard to get them to shine and one the paint is chipping along the lip..
whats a good way to do this?? how can i get the old paint off without messing up the wheel?? what type of paint would be best??
i love these wheels so deff wanna keep them just want them to shine again plus would like them to be the color of my bumpers. gettin new tires soon might as well do this while there off..

well of course but how were these rims painted from BMF?? what are they made out of?? the one with the chip you can see how thick the paint is a simple scuff and repaint wont cut it youll see the chip and what if they chip more
i guess what im asking is how can i remove the paint or whatever thats on them safely??

media blasting would be best, something that dosnt leave a heavy profile. it was probably powdercoat to start. a good refinisher will know what to do, look into your local coaters.
