01 F250 Crew Tire Size

Thanks in advance for any and all advise.

I have a stock suspension 2001 F250 4x4 and I am finally getting around to putting upgraded tires and rims. First and foremost is what size tire and with what offsets work. I am torn between 18" and 20" rims. Have heard that 10" wide rim would be better then 9" wide rims. Any truth to that?

I would prefer no rubbing at all, but a little on full lock rubbing on the leaf springs I think I can live with. I think I will leave the discussion for the best tire for another thread! Thanks again.
