Tire and Rim ?

I am looking at a set of 38 x 15.50 tires my question is can I run that wide of a tire on a 9 in wide rim or do i need a 10 or 12 in wide rim. I want a 18x10 but having trouble finding one.

I'd run it on a 12" wide. IMO anything less is too narrow.

ill be running 37x12.50 on 17s with an 8.5" rim. But in your case i would have to go with a 12" and no less. it will fit on a 9" wide rim but talk bout Fugly

And Im curious as too why you want to run a 15.50 ????

I just think that a 12.50 tire on anything over a 33 looks too skinny for me.
So what diameter would you guys recommend that have a 12 inch width. I wanted a 18 but I can't find anything.
