Just picked up Cooper ST Maxx
I just picked up a set of Cooper ST Maxx 33's for my truck. I was going to go with the Goodyear Duratrac's but alas, there were none in Fairbanks AK, and werent going to be any for 30-45 days. They seem like a decent tire, not too much noise or anything. The tread pattern is very similar to the Duratracs. I will see how they do this winter up here.

Cooper did email me back saying the back of a dually should be 12.5" on center of each wheel and that i should try lowering the air pressure to 50 if im not loading up heavy... which the dealer gave em to me at 85-90psi "80psi max". I lowered to 75 and seemed to improve slightly but not a ton. I'll try 50 just for the heck of it. They just track all over the road, its hard to steer the truck straight doing 50-60mph down a straight highway. Feels like the back is squirrely and going to zip into the next lane if you turn the wheel too quick. |

My boss runs them on his d-max. He's only complained about tread life but he drives it hard. No complaints about wandering or anything.
