Just picked up Cooper ST Maxx

I just picked up a set of Cooper ST Maxx 33's for my truck. I was going to go with the Goodyear Duratrac's but alas, there were none in Fairbanks AK, and werent going to be any for 30-45 days. They seem like a decent tire, not too much noise or anything. The tread pattern is very similar to the Duratracs. I will see how they do this winter up here.

Let me know how they are in the snow.. in NJ we dont get a ton, but it gets slick a lot.. We plow with the truck that they're going on... ordered 4 for the back of a 06 Dually F350 crew cab, replacing cooper discover atrs... been on there for 46k+ miles so far, pulling a lot so i'd say they lasted a descent time, they're well past their wear bars though, will not make it in the snow this winter!

Ive had mine on for a month on the back of the 06 F350 dually.. cant say much about traction off road or mud or anything since i've only driven on the road with them and in some light snow. Traction seems good or a ton better than the old tires obviously, but they're all over the road.

Cooper did email me back saying the back of a dually should be 12.5" on center of each wheel and that i should try lowering the air pressure to 50 if im not loading up heavy... which the dealer gave em to me at 85-90psi "80psi max". I lowered to 75 and seemed to improve slightly but not a ton.

I'll try 50 just for the heck of it.

They just track all over the road, its hard to steer the truck straight doing 50-60mph down a straight highway. Feels like the back is squirrely and going to zip into the next lane if you turn the wheel too quick.

My boss runs them on his d-max. He's only complained about tread life but he drives it hard. No complaints about wandering or anything.
