Well I found I had to put my caps on before I mounted the wheels on the back, also remember BMF's are lug centric so up until the last few mm's you wheel probably wont be centered, you have to center the rim by hand and push it on the lugs so the back of the rim is flush with the hub. If you just hang it on the lug bolts and tighten the nuts it will push the cap off. Hope that makes sense.
