max tire size

Can anyone tell me what the max tire size is that I can put on my 2009 f-350 4x4 SRW with no lift on it. I have 20 inch rims on there now, willing to go down to 17 or 18. Just looking for suggestions on tire and rim sizes....Thanks

I have a 2012 crew cab so this may not help.
I was told I need to lift my truck for 35's
well I went to the tire store and did a test mount of some 325 65 R18
which fit fine. so I bought the procomp extreme a/t
325 65 R18 35 x 13.5 E rated tires. Now I have the stock rims and if I bought some after market rims with offset the tire may hit. but on that I am not possitive.

Thanks Larryw1 for feedback. Iv been stopping people in town and that's the same size they have on there's and its a nice size fills up the wheel well and looks good without a lift. The only thing they have done different is put a leveling kit in the front end. I guess I'm shopping for aftermarket 18 inch rims. Thanks again
