Need New Brakes!
I have a 2008 F-250 4X4. I am on my second set of pads and rotors for the truck. I tow a landscape trailer and car hauler. I had the stock brakes on and when through those in like 45000 miles or less. I replaced the stock brakes for NAPA Severe Duty Brakes and Rotors. The problem is I hate the noise and squeal like mad. I am embarrassed to drive the truck. I have 59000 miles on the truck now and they are so bad noise wise I am about ready to tear them off. I clean the brake dust off when cleaning the truck but it does not really help for long. What should I do and what pads and rotors would you recommend keep in mine i am towing a lot in the summer. Thanks!

Call steven over At R1 Concepts, tell him that DFWSRT8 from the cherokeeSRT8 forums sent you. Their prices are already outstanding, but he will hook you up even better.
these guys can get you slotted, drilled, or drilled/slotted rotors for any vehicle, and they carry StopTech pads for super duties aswell. Get the stoptech pads, you'll crap your pants! My SRT8 jeep had brembo pads with its factory brembos...they squealed like a train. changed em out after 15k miles, couldnt take it any longer. The Stoptech pads do not squeal, stop better than the brembo pads, and they are much less dusty! |
