16x7 vs. 18x9
Doing an Excursion suspension upgrade through Cary at CT Performance
and need new tires. Considering 285 on current 16x7 stocks or 285 on new 18x9 (ATX Artillery) wheels. Looking for thoughts from the tire & wheel guys. There are those that say the Excursion stability benefits from the wider 9" rim. I also suspect there will be less sidewall flex and maybe better wear pattern. The tires will be BF AT/Ko.
