Any mud tire is going to be loud on the street. The Toyo MT is actually one of the quieter MT tires out there. If your concerned about noise I would stick with a AT tire.
If you want to stick with an MT I would check out either Nitto Trail Grappler or MIckey Thompson MTZ, or ProComp XTreme Mud Terrain. Those are some good options but none of them will be any quieter than the Toyo's. For AT I would look at the BFG AT, Nitto Terra Grappler, ProComp XTreme All Terrain, or Mickey Thomspon ATZ. |

X2 on the noise from an MT, any one you choose is gonna be a little noisy.
I am running BFG KM2 on my truck and they are def quiter than all the other Mt's I have runn before... Sent from my Galaxy S2 while my wife is yelling at me for being on my phone... |

I forgot to mention the BFG KM2. They are very good MTs as well. Whichever you choose I'm sure you'll love.

I'd look into the duratracs. They're a very aggressive AT, a few guys at work run them and a bumch of friends. They look awesome and do great on ice/snow.

I have owned nitto Trail Grapplers in a 35", Toyo M/T in a 37", and Mickey Thompson MTZ in a 35" on past trucks.
The mickeys are the loudest tire I have ever owned. They are on my current truck the owner had them installed just before selling. As soon as I can I will be ridding of them for some nitto trails again. The toyo m/t and nitto trail were comparable in road noise. They were not too bad at all. The BFG KM2 are have a bit of noise to them as well. Nothing like the old KM1's use to though. A friend of mine has them on his truck and they really hum from about 50-75. Toyo and Nitto are my favs. I personally liked the Nitto Trails just because of the price diff over the toyos. |
