2004 Excursion - Tire & Wheel Advice
I have a 2004 Diesel Excursion 4x4 and need wheel & tire advice.
My Excursion has the factory 265 75/R16 wheels & currently I have BG Goodrich All Terrain TA KO. The tires are worn & I need to replace. The wheels and tires have alway looked too small for this truck. There is a lot of space between the top of the wheel and the bottom of the fender. The current tires I am trying to decide between are: BF Goodrich Rugged Terrain T/A Cooper Discoverer A/T3 Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx Hankook Dynapro ATM I do not want the BF All Terrain TA KO anymore as I was disappointed with the wear & life. Can any of you give me advice on a larger wheel/rim and suitable tire size that I could upgrade to without having to lift the truck. Thanks for the help. |

The ONLY person you should be talking to about your Excursion is Cary

Any advice any of you have would be greatly appreciated - even if it's just on the tire choice. I may have to stick with the 16" wheels anyway as switching to 18" is probably too expensive.
