Alright guys, my 2010 goodyear wrangler tires with 36k miles have only a couple of months left and I'm looking for my next set. I understand there are many threads about this but I'm asking for specifics needs.
I want to keep the stock size but I want to get more than 40k miles out of them. Weather here in WA is 7-8 months of cold (20-30s), rain, little ice, and little snow. I do little to none off-roading. I also pull a 12-13k lbs toy hauler very often on long trips (6-12 hrs). What's the best tire for me? |

I'd say duratrac's but good luck finding them in stock anywhere, though I hear they don't perform so well under heavy loads :/

I left out a very important detail...they have to be american made. Don't care much for made in china tires for american based companies either.

I have Duratracs and they have about 12k on them and they seem to be wearing fast. And I rotate and balance every 5k. My last set was BFG AT and had 65k on them with life left. So far it looks like I'll get about 40k out of them, and then I'll go back to BFG. My .02.

I would def. recommend the Pro Comp Xtreme All-Terrain, great tire, I already have about 30k miles on mine and they dont even look 1/2 worn, I have pulled a few trailers weighing in around 18k to 22k with these tires and they are great, I cant tell you about the ice and snow because we dont see much of that here in South Texas, but I have had freinds see over 70k miles on these tires, but i religiously rotate and balance at 5k miles.
