245/75/16 on a 99 f250?

i have a nearly new set of 245/75/16's from my ranger that i was thinking about swapping onto my 99 ... it has 265/75/16's on it now... the ones from the ranger are cooper discover stt's with maybe a thousand miles on them, they are an e range tire, and they are awesome in the snow... is there a benefit to running the smaller tire in terms of mileage? I don't pull much in the winter and other than looking a little small I don't see many cons... does anyone else run a 245 on their truck?

It'll probably make your truck feel like it's geared a tiny bit lower, but otherwise you'll be fine. I ran them on a 99 Cummins for quite awhile, they're just fine, just look kinda tiny.

I actually sold the coopers to my buddy with a duramax (that's the stock size on the Chevys) and got a set of BFG all terrains in 265/75/16...
