Well, when I bought my rims I had a hard time figuring out what size lugnuts were correct for my vehicle and application. I went to my local Advanced Auto Parts store and they told me that I had to order some custom ones which would be $100. I laughed and walked out upon realizing that they had no idea what I was talking about and really didn't know much about cars. I was able to find out what size lugnuts fit after a trip to Pep Boys, but unfortunately the choice of lugnuts in that size were very limited. So I bought a few cases of different 14x2 lugnuts. Some were short with an open end and some were longer with a closed end. But unfortunately, they were still too short and the ends busted out when they were mounted.
I turned to ebay and ordered some 2" tall 14x2 acorn lugnuts from a vendor called DP Accessories. They arrived and I kind of put them away and forgot about them until recently. So, today I went and swapped out the crappy old lugnuts with the new ones and I've never been happier. Now I don't need 2 different size sockets to remove my wheels. Also, you can actually see them now, since they don't sit as deep inside the wheel.
They also sell them with wheel locks. Just in case any one has had a hard time trying to find the right lugnuts for our trucks.
