backspacing help

i got xd series hoss and am looking to get a level and 35s.

the offset is 18mm and back spacing is 5.71

what does both of those mean?

Means it has 5.71 inches from mounting faceof wheel to inner edge of wheel. And also that same surface is +18 mm off center. Not a deep dished wheel so to say. My octanes are -44 offset -pretty deep dished wheel.

in more than out. are they 9" wide?

i think they are a 9 but actually measure 10
