moto metal wheels
Had a couple questions on them. Have any of you had issues with the center caps coming off? Also do I need new lugs for them?

I had my kids bust them off from climbing on them, but with just normal driving, I never had a problem. Oh and they are PROUD of those pieces of plastic! They are EXPENSIVE to replace
![]() PS. I ended up with new locking lugs as part of the deal, but to answer your question, yes, the Moto Metals use acorn style lug nuts, while the stock wheels use flat lug nuts. (If you are running aftermarket wheels and a factory spare, you should keep a set of 8 of the factory lug nuts or when the time comes, you will realize you cannot mount up your spare tire.) |
