I am sorta wondering the same thing for a 37x13.50. Mine came with 40 psi and I just bumped them up to 55 last night. I figured that would be a happy medium. I dont really care about ride quality as much as how well they will wear. 1700 a set isnt something I want to pay every year!

They are rated for what? 65? That is what I would run em at. 40 is no where near enough for a 1 ton truck.

I used to sell tires for Good Year. You will get the best wear on them by putting the pressure indicated on the door jam in the tires. For the 06 f-350 that is 65 front and 70 rear. These are heavy trucks, this is why I suspect such hight tire pressure requirements.
