You tire pro's help me out please

I have an 05 FX4 Lariat. It has 17" XLT wheels. I'm running 265 70 17's and I'm wanting to go up a couple of sizes. Nothing huge, but I want a noticeable difference. Will 285's give me a noticeable difference? If anyone has pics of stock truck with 285's please post. Should I go 295? 305? Thanks!

285s will be a little taller. Close to a 33 I think. If it was me I might go to a 295 if I found a tire in that size I liked. No more with the factory wheels

The 295/70-17 is a good size and is approved for the factory wheels.

I'm running 285s on a stock height truck. I did go a bit wider with the new wheels, but that was just in prep for the future.

Ordered Toyo Open Country MT's. 295's. BTW, Mystic that is THE baddest 250 I've ever seen. If I weren't a cheapskate I'd buy one just like it.
