Simple offset question.

If a rim has a positive offset, does that mean that the outer part where the tire goes on is further away from the truck, or closer to it? And whats the offset of the 16'' stock rims? Thanks

A negative offset makes the tire stick out further from the side of the vehicle. A positive offset makes the tire appear more tucked under the truck.

Don't know the offset of the stock wheels.
