Tires Rubbing :(
I recently purchased a 2002 Ford f250 7.3L. Its a awesome truck but I'm having an issue with the tires rubbing.
The truck came with what looks like a 2" leveling kit. It currently has stock rims with 35 X12.50 Yokahama All Terrain tires. When I go to take a sharp turn or a u-turn the tires rub on the Leaf Springs. Is there anything I can do to prevent that aside from a bigger lift? Do you think installing tire spacers would help? Thanks in advance for the help! Ben Hartwick |

You need to get after market wheels for those tires. 4.5" back spacing on some 16x10(or9) will keep them off of the springs. You may then need to trim bumper a little but that is normal. I wouldn't spend the money on wheel spacers because you should be running those tires on a wider than stock wheel anyway. The 2.5" lift is commonly run w/35" tires. You could also go down to a 285/75 on a stock rim and it will not rub the springs.
