2007 CLT rims on a 2000 Lariat?
I'm looking for rims for snow tires on my 2000 F250 and have a line on a set of rims off a 2007 XLT. Will these rims fit my truck? I see a thread from a couple days ago saying 2006 rims won't fit an early 1999, so I'm thinking they probly wont fit.
Thx |

No they should fit. Your truck has the 8x170 bolt pattern and so does the 07

They will fit, but they will be tucked way in due to the newer wheels having much more backspacing. You could use spacers to move them out, but there are pros and cons to using them.

You'll need spacers to run them. What size are they?

bolt pattern is the same but 2" spacers are needed to get it back to stock location $$$$$$$ if you want steel spacers

Thanks guys, I don't want to mess with steel spacers, so I'll pass on the 07 rims. What years will fit - 1999 1/2 to 2004 F250/F350?
My stepdad has some snow tires he said he'd give me, but they are 17" rims. Anyone know if there is a stock 17" rim that fits our trucks? I'm on a tight budget (like everyone else), so don't want to spend a bunch of money on rims to put free tires on. |
