Is there such a thing as a 16.5" rim for SD??

Guys, Have you seen all the advertisement of people selling the hummer tires with 95% tread for $300-$400 a set?? The tire sizes are 37x12.5x16.5. My question is...... Is there a 16.5 inch rim that will fit on a super duty??? I have an 02' Excursion......Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Seems to be pleanty of 16.5 rims up my way, but good luck finding tires. The tire place I go (warehouse) has TONS of tires... but only 1 set (4, not even 5) of 16.5 tires, in 33". They are a couple years old, too.

Ya, plenty of 16.5 wheels out there, i had 16.5x12 Welds on my 01. in 2005 SDs got bigger rotors and calipars. 17" wheels came stock ever since. I had extra sets of 16" wheels off my 2001 and 99 SDs and I tried them and they did not fit! 17s ride very close to the calipur on the inside of the wheel. I had sold my 16.5s at the time so i did not try it personaly. My guess is they would fit on an 05-07 SD but you would not be able to run balancing weights on the inside of the wheel because cleareance would be that tight. Proabably wouldnt recommend. good luck, there is a ton of used tires for 16.5s

I ran 16.5's for ever on my 99. Dont listion to all the people who say good luck finding tires for them. I literally never had an issue finding 16.5's. A lot more companies make then then you think. They are everywhere.

I see them on Craigslist a lot. Weld Racing made tons of them. Use the name in your search engine.
