Tire and Wheel Recommendations

Alright guys, time to have some fun. I've got an 08 F-250 Powerstroke with right at 35k miles on it. Time for some new tires, and because it is an XL with the 17 inch steelies, some new wheels.

I did some searching around and couldn't find exactly what I wanted, and because I'm going to be spending a lot of money, I wanted to get some advice tailored to my situation.

The Powerstroke is black, supercab. I was thinking of a black, bead lock wheel. As far as the tire, something more aggressive than normal, but I do not want much of a hum on the interstate. BFG All Terrain KO?

Bring on the help! I'm thinking of going up to 18 inch wheels, but I'm thinking anything bigger will cause the tires to be too expensive.

BFG AT KO's are ridiculously loud. I think that 17" rims with plus 2 size tires (285's) looks really good. That's what I bought from Discount Tire and I'm really happy with the purchase. If you don't NEED a 10-ply tire, then you're gonna save some money.

What's your price point?

Okay, thanks. Price point is 1500 ish for the tires and wheels. Think that can be done? What do you mean when you say 10 ply? Does that have to do with the load range? D or E? We don't haul that much with the truck. Heaviest thing would be a 8000 lb bobcat every now and then.

Alright, so I'm thinking of going with the Nitto Trail Grappler 295/70/18 on a Dick Cepek 18x8.5 rim. What do yall think?

Should look very nice. That tire seems to be gaining quite a following, hopfully that is a sign of good things to come, I am going for the same tire but I am keeping my stock rims.
