Same old question, Which tire would you recommend?

Time for new tires on a 07 F250 with 275/70 18's. We use the truck here in the oilpatch and it is driven thru lots of mud, gravel and dirt roads. I am looking for a tough durable tire that has good tread life in these conditions. Currently it has Michelin LTX AT2's which were a joke as far as tread wear goes.

I was maybe thinking of getting some BFG KO's or Goodyear DuraTracs's . What would you guys recommend for me? Maybe something a little more aggressive?

My buddy got some aggressive kuhmos (sp) yesterday. Not sure the exact kind but the ride nice, do well in mud, and are supposed to be good for 40k miles.

Come on there's got to be a lot of people on here that use their trucks offroad, whether its in the oilfield, farming, ranching, construction, line crew etc.
I'm trying to get a feeler for what tires you guys use on your trucks to help get you around when the weather gets bad.

I dont want to make a mistake a gain regarding tire choice.

BFG KO A/T. I got 65K+ miles out of my last set. They cost a little more, but definitely worth it.

I recommend doing a search here. That's what I did. Ended up getting Duratracs from a sponsor here for my '02 F350. Great price & service.

How many miles do you have on the DuraTracs? From what I have been reading about them is that on heavy trucks they have problems with sidewall flex. What is your review on this tire?
