Angry XD Monster wheels cracked!

So I was filling my tires yesterday after loading my truck camper and noticed that two of the spokes seem to be cracked all the way through. Anybody else ever have that happen with these wheels? Did they warranty it for you?

What company did you buy them from? I haven't heard anything bad about the KMC wheels.

I bought them through Discount. I talked to a guy there this morning and he said to bring it in so he can look at it and tell KMC what he found. They DO have a lifetime structural warranty, obviously void if you hit a curb or something, which I did not. I'll find out this week if I'm getting a new one. Hopefully it won't take forever, cause I want to use my camper before summers over

One thing I wasn't able to find is the weight rating. IIRC it was somewhere around 3k lbs per wheel

So you've already had Discount inspect them?

Their RockStar has a reputation of cracking as well. The guy who bought my 2007 SuperDuty called me about a year later and said he had one crack. I think he took it to 4wheel parts (which is NOT where I bought the wheels) and they exchanged it no questions asked.

I was going to say the same thing. I've heard of this happening with the rockstars before, but not the monsters.

I do know KMC is VERY good about warranty issues. They'll take care of you Nicholas.

We buy ours from WheelPros, and there never any question about XD wheels. If there's something wrong they get replaced, period.

Yeah, 3,200 is the weight rating. Sorry to hear about the cracks! Hopefully Discount or KMC takes care of you
