SRW vs DRW brakes
Hello,
I am in the process of doing a 2008 axle swap into my 2002. The axle I have is from a 2008 DRW 4x4. It is in the need of new rotors.... From everything I have read, the axles between the SRW and DRW are the same short of the spacer for the wheels. When I have looked for rotors I found different part numbers for SRW and DRW front rotors: at $214 a pop: Front R DRW: 126.65110CSR Front L DRW: 126.65110CSL At $281 a pop: Front R SRW: 126.65112CSR Front L SRW: 126.65112CSL (These are for the cryo power slots) Can anyone advise why there would be adifference in the two? If no difference I would just go with teh DRW rotors and save $120...Thats easily pads right there! Thanks for any insight! Last edited by fifty; 06-01-2011 at 09:45 AM. Reason: spelling |

Well here is the response from power slot:
"...the rotors are dimensionally the same (externally) between the dually and single rear wheel. The difference is the vane configuration….the dually rotor has an additional 20 cooling vanes." So if that is the case, you would think the DRW rotors would be more expensive and not cheaper.... |
