Trouble with the Brakes on the 03 F 250
I have a 03 F 250 4 x4 7,3
Problem began when I brought the truck in because it needed new brake Pads and Rotors. ( She was shaky when trying to stop) Which was end of March !
So the Shop changed the Pads and Rotors...got the truck home and couple of days later she started to shake violently while driving for no reason. Now it shook that Truck hard enough first I thought something came loose , so I pulled over and nothing is loose. So back in the Truck drove slow ( 40 mph) and she still shook like something was grabbing the Tires .... I drove her to school ( another Mile) and the brakes were HOT I could smell them. I also noticed that the Brake Pads are hard as heck and then they back to normal.
I called the Shop up and they told me to bring her back in.....now its the Calipers...so we get them changed. Also had them check out the other Parts and have them bleed again everything.
Again she does it ,,,,, NOW I have to bring it back again to the shop , now they changing the power steering fluid
STILL does it
Hubby is finally home and he changed the Brake Hoses ......everything looks good he checks out everyting.
He is back out on the road and she does it again !!!!!!!!!!
Back to square one.... I wont bring it back to this shop they now tell me " well they are big Tires" and " its just the Road" NOT dealing with this sorry I drive this Truck just about every day and I KNOW something isn't right she also did this when my husband was home and he knows I am not making this up he also told the shop this.
So we are out of Ideas..... next thing we are told is the Hydro Boost or the master Cylinder....they ( the shop) told me the ABS was bled and was fine.... NO Air Bubbles
is there any other Ideas out there?
She is in the a different Shop ( my Ford Dealer) but we are stunned.... I am going broke ....
After a while whatever is freezing or holding the brakes lets go and drives 100% ....
