Tire Size (converted)???

What size would a 325/60-20 (Terra Grapplers) convert to height wise? They measure 34.5" tall by tape measure but a guy at a mexican tire shop (cheap repairs and on every fking corner in town) bought my used ones (20% tread left) said they were 37's. What am I not understanding? His busted *** english or does 34.5" equal 37" in tire size.

The conversion chart I checked said that they would measure 35.5 tall x 11 wide.

Nitto's site has actual heights for each of their tires, I would look there.
