20 inch rims on a stock height 4x2 2001 SD?
Alright, so I've been looking at some 20" rims lately and I think my truck would pull off that look very well. Especially the chrome on black look. And since it is only 4x2 I don't see how it would hurt any to put on some nice looking 20" chromers with some low profile tires. I don't really want to lift it since it is only 2WD and it would be pretty pointless, plus it is pretty expensive. So I was wondering, would 20" rims fit on there? Would they require any modification (spacers, trimming, etc.)? What size tires are recommended? Who has done it before? Here are the pics of what it should look like according to Tirerack.com. Well, thanks for the help.

You need a leveling kit for sure for a 2wd truck. You would have some serious rubbing

So a leveling kit for sure? How much clearance do I need for the 20"s with some low profile tires? And what tire size would be best? Does anyone know? I remember seeing a reg cab '99-'04 F250 for sale with 20"s or 22"s and I don't think it had any lift, or much.
Look. This one has 20" rims: ![]()

This one has 20"s too. Seems they are popular around my area. None of them mention any lift.
