New Tires for sale
I have a brand new set of Continental Contitrac Tires (LT 275/70 R18) with maybe 25 miles on them. I was wondering what a fair price would be if I go to sell them? What do you guys think? I was thinking $170-150 range per tire.
Thanks |

Seems like a fair price but I think it will be hard selling for 600-700 for stock tires...

Yea that's what I was thinking too. I've seen Craiglist post and ads that are selling used tires for $130-100 with a third or quarter of the tread left... not sure may have to just put them out there and see what I can get.

I've bought the OEM Conti tires from my dealer. They are the take offs he removes when he installs the custom wheels and tires.
I've paid him $100 per tire. And it comes with what ever wheel it was installed on. Usually the XLT or Lariat wheels. If he removes the wheels and remounts and balances on my rims, Then I have to pay more for the mounting and balancing. I've done this several times because $400 vs $1200 for a set of new tires is worth driving on the Contis. |
