04 F250 S/C Lariat...

Just bought one for my son, it has stock Ford rims with 285/75/16 (if i remember right) and I want to know what you guys reccomend for the biggest stock size tire.

Looking at Dick Cepek tires, I love the tread patterns.

TIA

Ty

Would the newer 18" rims fit on my 04? If so I would like to find some take offs to buy, any ideas where to shop for some take offs at?

They will fit but the offset is different. <ight have to put spacers on so the tire doesn't rub the leaf springs. 285's or 305' is as big as I would go on the stock 16's.

My truck looks like yours except its a S/C

I just would like to put something on it to "look tougher" than the 16"s.

Maybe I should just stuff a set of Dick Cepek 305's on it and see what it looks like.

THANKS for the reply

285's make a decent difference on the stockers. Mine are the stock size but I'm not into the bigger tire thing.

I'm 32, but even when I was 16 I wasn't into the lifted look and big tires. I like to look at lifted trucks but never wanted one. Different folks, different strokes

I'm not into big tires either, I didn't think you were such an old fart though.
