ABS warning light

First post on the forum so bear with me. I purchased a 2004 Excursion, had it shipped from California. It took over three weeks to get here.(Georgia) Went to pick it up and had to jump start. Got it running and home, next day...very slow to crank and when it did, the ABS light now comes on. Tested both batteries last night while not running and got 10.4 volts on both. Fired it up and got 13.8 on both. Have two new batteries to install, just wondering if battery issue is causing ABS light. Previous owner states ABS never an issue before. Sorry for the long post, but is there a special procedure for battery swap as it involves two batteries?

Well....Just in case any one is interested, I did replace both batteries this last week end and it appears to have solved the ABS light issue. Do I need to learn a "Special Handshake" to get a response from this forum?

No special handshake required. Low voltage can cause all kinds of things, including ABS light illuminating.
