You can post pics a couple of ways. You can link them here from a photo host site, or you can scroll down from your post reply and click "manage attachments". From there you just "browse" your computer for the image you want, then hit "upload". I think you can add 5 images per post.

I had a truck that had Weld wheel on it back when they were into clear coating rims so about all you had to do was wipe them down to clean them. It was fairly common for a rock to chip the clear and then you would get a dicoloration that I always assumed was corrosion
. Ive currently got a set of procomp 1059 wheels that are doing the same thing....... as soon as I get another set of tires for my other rims im just gona black them out.Jim |

That's what I'm thinking. My brother mentioned that it could be the nickel coat coming out. I don't know how old it is but the Chrome coat is thin he says. I thought they were polished so I stuck a fridge magnet to them and was like "yup they're chrome" wonder if I would need to strip the chrome off to paint them . If I polish them then I do need them stripped but they look good from a coupe of feet away

yeah mine look good from 10ft away or so but up close they are pretty rough. I just planned to hit mine with some adhesian promoter of some sort then hit them with black paint but i have heard that you really want to strip them if your gona do it right.
