Nitto vs Mickey Thompson
I have a 09 F-250 w/leveling kit. Currently I have 35x13.50x20 Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ with 60k miles on them. They are done. I am obviously looking at going with these again or the Nitto Trail Grappler M/T in 35x12.50x20 or the Nitto Terra Grappler AT in 355/60R20. What are ya'll thoughts, experiences, etc. I like the ATZ's and I got excellent mileage out of them, they are expensive though. I don't know anything about Nitto and wondering if you get what you pay for (since they are chepaer) and what kind of mileage I could expect out of the Nittos.
Thanks |

I have the trail grapplers on my truck in that size, and i like them so far, do have some road noise, but nothing to bad, can tell ya about mileage just put them on about 2000 miles ago....as for the terra grapplers i really like those tires, get about 40,000 on them....but ive never had them on a diesel, and was told last night that they dont do good on these truck, but idk.....they did great on my midsize and a full size gas...

I would stick with the mickey thompson!! The trail grapplers are close to the MT mtz`s.

I just sold the MTZ's in my sig and bought some stock size Nitto terras and couldnt be happier. I wanted better fuel mileage, a smoother ride, and better traction. These deliver all of that. They have a somewhat softer compound so they might not last the longest but the dry traction is great. The MTZ's looked killer but just cost to much to run.

My Terra grapplers I had got right at 40k out of them. I went with pro comps just because the size nitto I was needing were on backorder. Granted it is not the same size but I loved them.
