315s on stock 16" wheel

I am getting new tires around a 315/75/16 and wondering if they will fit on the stock 16". I have heard no way but also have heard people can get away with it.

Yeah they fit perfectly..Im not old enough to say I am old school but I like the old school look. More tire, less bling. Last week I put brand new315/75/16 cooper stt's on my stock Lariat wheels. Looks 10x better than when I got the truck with Welds and 325/65/18 Coopers. Also keeps them in the fender wells to prevent chips and a filthy truck.

Had them on mine for a long time till I went with bigger rims and tires. Loved them. will post a pic when I can.

I actually had the same size BFG mud tires on my old f250. I loved how they performed on my sloppy farm roads. I did not like the road noise on the highway. The hum was a little louder than I liked. I hear the newer mud terrains are not quite as loud but have not tried them. Basicaly cause my all terrains suit my pourpose.
