So did discount sell me the wrong wheels?

I went in to discount tire Saturday, and bought some new wheels and tires for my truck.

The truck had 16x11 wheels and I really wanted to go to a 285/75/r16 so I bought some new wheels also.

My receipt says the sold me the MB 72 8x6.5 18mms I believe this wheel has almost 6 inches of backspacing. They look funny on the truck especially the back. Stock wheels have something like 4.5 backspacing.

So would I be a total jerk if i went in there and asked them to exchange the wheels for some others with less backspacing?

What would you do?

So I decided to risk being an a$$hat and went in today and asked if they would exchange the wheels. They said no problem, I love discount tire.

The discount tire by my house is great. I jsut got some new tires on a little SUV of mine and those guys are great. Reason I started going there? I had a tire and rim on my boat trailer and I needed the old ripped tire removed and a new tire installed. I didnt even buy the tire there. They removed it replaced it balanced it and said have a nice day. Didnt even charge me. I went across the street and bought two large pizzzas to thank them.
