Tire Choices

I desperately need new tires. Im looking at probably either Cooper Discovery ATT or Mickey Thompson ATZ. A friend of mine quoted me about 190 each where he works for 285/75 r16. I forget what the 305s were quoted at. Free mounting and balancing as well.

Which of these tires are better as far as treadlife, traction, noise, etc.? Any other recommendations?

BTW, here are pics of my old tires, you'll see why i need new ones.

Both are great choices Jake. But Im gonna throw 3 more into the mix for you.

Kuhmo KL78's or KL71's

Or the Hercules Terra Trac AT's

78's are a no, as well as the terra trac. Especially the terra trac, those look wimpy.

The 71's however, thats more what im lookin for. I want an aggressive MT. No AT will go on my truck. Unless its extremely cheap.

As far as the other suggestions, how are those tires with wear, noise, etc? Also cost. Im about broke so its still gonna be a few weeks before i can save up enough for any thing.

The KL78's are plenty agressive Jake. Thats what Im running. Havent left me stuck anywhere.

Same with the Terra tracs. The pics dont do them Justices.

THe 71's are an awesome tire though. That will be my next set

Are you bipolar too lol. You throw out 2 AT example of what you'll probably buy and then say you won't put an AT on your truck. Makes it hard to recommend a tire dude.
