14" wide tire on 9" wheel ?

I know allot of guys run 13.50 tires on stock 8" wide wheels and i have a set of 355/60/20 tires and wondering will they go on some 9" wheels with out have any issues?

My buddy runs 33x15.5R15 on 8" wide wheels. The only issue is that they're sucked in so much they aren't as wide as they should be

I don't really care about losing some width just don't want allot of premature wear from buldging them up. i used to run 44" supers on some 16.5x9.75 wheels years ago with no issues except they were bunched up i just drive allot and want the tires to last like they are supposed too.
