Hankook RF10 ATM - Reviews

Hankook was nice enough to send us a couple of T-shirts to giveaway here on powerstroke.org so we have decided to do a drawing for them. Here's how it works.

If you are running a set of Hankook tires on your truck snap a few pictures, post them up here and write a short review. Please include how many miles you have on them, what size they are and a few thoughts about how they are doing for you. Those that post a review (with pictures) will be entered into a drawing for a Free Hankook T-shirt. Two entrants will win. The drawing will be done on May 28th, 2010. If you have run a set of hankook tires in the past and have some pictures of them feel free to post them up with your review. We'll take your entry as well.

Thank you in advance for participating. Hopefully this thread will be full of great reviews to help powerstroke members with their tire purchase decisions. For those looking for an affordable All Terrain tire, take a look at the Hakook RF10 ATM. Here's a link to full details, sizes and specs: Hankook RF10 ATM

I had Dyna pro ATM's on my old truck I liked them, looked good, good grip in loose dirt and snow, only put about 10,000mi on them but they held up well.
make sure there rotated, it will help alot!
285 75 16 on my 2000 F-350

BTW I dont qualify cause I dont have them anymore, just letting people know about these tires

Okay, here's my collection of Hankook tires. Kinda pic heavy.

First, my truck. ('94.5 F350 CC LB) I've got about 20K on my Hankook RT03 MT's, and I still have between 9 and 10/ 32's on all of them.

Second, my fiance's truck. ('97 F150 EC Std. bed) She's got about 9,500 miles on her Hankook RF10 AT's. Her last set of tires, were Nitto Terra Grapplers, and her feedback so far, is that the RF10's are far better. In a word, she loves em. I've driven her truck a bit with the RF10's, and I agree with her. I think they ride much nicer than the Nitto's ever did. Now I just need to get it off road, and see how they perform.

Third, my car. ('05 VW GTI) I've had 2 VW's, and I've run either Hankook, or Ventus tires on both, and I couldn't be happier. The tires on my car are Hankook K105's. Out of all the car tires I've run from Hankook and Ventus, I like the way these perform the best. Though I'd much prefer them in a stickier, Z rating.

Well, there you have it. That's my collection of vehicles outfitted with Hankook tires.

i have no pictures. but. i had an 01 gmc sierra before this with 265-75-16 hankook RF10 ATM's and they were a great tire. awsome snow traction. very quite on the highway. very even wear. and they balance nicely. my dad currently has a set of 285-75-17's on his 06 Dodge 3500 Mega Cab and he loves them also. he rotates every 3000 miles (because of it being a 1 ton) and he has had no complaints. they have also worn very evenly on his also. i would say my set has around 15K miles on them now and still worn evenly (sold the tires to a freind) and my dads around 10 and so far so good also. cant say much about mud traction as there not really a mud tire and i didnt have anything to compare them to. but there defineatly a tire i would buy again. and may buy again when my STT are worn out.

I had a set of 325/60s on my 03... I actually had 2 sets of them... each set lasted about 30,000 miles and for around my area that is impressive... they had great grip on the highway and gravel... they weren't too loud on the road even with the agressive tread. I was impressed with them.

Will try to take pics this week. Running 285 75 16 RF10 ATM on a 01 w/ leveling kit. Tires now have 45k on them and should be fine for most of the summer. they wear evenly, especially if you get an alignment as needed. I tryed to rotate them with oil change
(every 10k). I drive over 30k miles a year so need some tires to last. buying a set every year-and-a-half gets exspensive.
