Offset Question
So i have an 03 with a 4in and im currently running 35 12.50 16's. The tires and rims came on the truck but ive never really cared for them. Im lookin for new wheels and i want to know what size offset i should look for so that i dont rub on the leaf springs. I was looking to run the same size tire, probably the cooper stt's with atleast a 17in wheel (maybe bigger, no bigger then 20 tho). I dont really care if it rubs on the fender plastic, ill shave that stuff. Thanks
Also im willing to sell the setup i have right now, Tires still have 15k atleast on em and the rims look brand new, they were put on about 15 months ago by previous owner. I live in boise, Idaho. I would be willin to deliver up to 250 miles. |

I recommend looking for a wheel that is 9" wide with a -12mm offset (4.5" BS).

35" get 20" rims with 4.5" BS, 9-10 wide.

I have a 20 x 9 rim with 305/55/20 Terra's and they scrub on the leafs (3.5'' lift up front), they are -5mm offset, so atleast get -12mm, they look perfect.

only thing that makes me not want 20's is the price of the tire gets more expensive and im loosing sidewall

Yeah, the price sucks. But i like the smaller sidewall. Handles better in curves.
