Wheels and Tires

Hey fellas,
I am running stock 265/70R17 now I want to go up but not too crazy I was thinking of doing like 2.5" life and maybe 20's. I don't want to go crazy I want a little bigger look but I don't want to have to regear and I tow a heavy a$$ 5th wheel (15K+) but my truck is also my daily driver so I want it to look a little tougher. Ideas.....

Being military the $$ is a big factor in what I can afford to do.....

Thanks

If you put a 2.5" lift on it, you could go with 35" tires. That would look really good.

I agree. 2.5 with a leveling kit is a great combo. What gear ratio do you currently have in the truck? For towing 15k+ I'd want 4.30's at least, especially with 35's.

I have the 3.73LS I would like to do 4.30 but the truck is also my daily driver. I know if I did 35's I have to do the 4.10 but then I am not sure I could afford to drive it....hahahaha

Serious question I am kind of ignorant on the load rateing on tires can someone explain to me what the letters mean???? In an easy to understand way...Thanks
