Brake caliper slider pins

I had the good old Super Duty front end shakes while braking.

I replaced the brake caliper slider pins & boots on all four wheels Yesterday.

I had a few that were pretty stiff and one rear pin that was stuck.

I bought Federal Mogul brand from Advance Auto for $52 OTD, best price I found on any brand or place.

I pulled the brackets off and polished the pin bores with a little flapper rod I made up with some 400 grit paper.

Lubed them up with Valoline silicon brake grease.

Torqued the lug nuts to 160lbs.

I did nothing but change the pins and the shakes are all but gone.

The only time it ends, is when your pockets are totally empty!
