315/75r16 & 16x8
Getting ready to finally order a set of tires and rims. Only took me a year to decide what to get!
Goodyear Duratrak's with the 16x8 DC-1 Black. My question - though well researched, is should I have any rubbing issues with the 315's and 16x8's on a leveled otherwise stock '03 4wd? |

Do you know what offset or backspace you are planning on running?

that 16x8 probably wont have much offset or backspacing so you might wind up rubbing a little. just my thinking. Might not though. The experts will chime in

DC-1 16x8 is 4" backspace & -12 offset.
My other option is going with the 16x10 DC-1 Black is 4 1/2" backspace and -25 offset. Yet another option is the DC Torque 16x8 with 4.5" backspace and -00 offset. What is the issue with the offset anyhow? Also - I like the "out from the wheel well" look anyhow. Is that the offset or is that the backspace? What number sticks the tire out more? -12 should be good!

Backspacing is the distance from the back edge of the rim to the flat part where the lug holes are and offset is how far from the center of the rim to flat part where the lug holes are. If that makes since. Hard to explain typing. With that being said I have 315/75/16 on 16x9s with 4.5in backspace and -12 offset and a 4" lift and mine hit the springs at full lock on a bump.

anybody know if by chance a 4.5" bs & -13 offset on a 18x9 rim would fit my truck?
